Abstract:
A fluid leak detecting system (100) is provided with a measuring unit (10) for detecting a leak of operating oil from a hydraulic cylinder (1), and a controller (80) which acquires a measurement result from the measuring unit (10), wherein: if it is determined that data from the measuring unit (10) have not been acquired, and it is determined that a battery (54) in the measuring unit (10) has a reduced remaining capacity, the controller (80) diagnoses that a dead battery state of the battery (54) has occurred; and if it is determined that the data from the measuring unit (10) have not been acquired, and it is determined that the battery (54) in the measuring unit (10) does not have a reduced remaining capacity, the controller (80) diagnoses that a communication abnormality has occurred in a first communication unit (52) of the measuring unit (10).
