Abstract:
A linear bearing assembly including a linear bearing plate (50), a base plate (52) to support the linear bearing plate within a machine, a sealing structure (54) to seal a volume (53) defined between the linear bearing plate (50) and the base plate (52), and a fluid (56) adapted to be injected into the volume via at least one injection port. The fluid (56) is injected at a sufficient pressure so as to alter an orientation of the linear bearing plate (50) or the base plate (52) toward an initial geometric orientation.
