Abstract:
A fluid machine which can be manufactured at reduced cost, has high weld strength, and is highly reliable.
First and second shells (78, 80) have a weld (84) formed by subjecting a groove (82) to full-circumference welding, the groove (82) being formed by butting opening ends (78a, 80a) of the first end second shells (78, 80) against each other. The weld is separated from seal sections (96, 98) with a predetermined space (100) therebetween, and the seal sections (96, 98) are made to be in contact with each other at the opening ends.
