Abstract:
A centrifugal blower is provided that comprises: a motor section having a rotor provided on a rotary shaft of an impeller, a coil provided around the rotor, and a motor housing for housing the coil; an inverter section having an inverter unit for supplying drive power to the motor section, and an inverter housing that is connected to the motor housing and that houses the inverter unit; and a cooling fan that is provided on the rotary shaft and rotates integrally with the impeller, and that causes cooling air to flow through the inverter housing and the motor housing sequentially. The inverter unit is arranged so as to be aligned in the direction of the rotational axis of the rotor relative to the coil.
