Abstract:
A compression mechanism (50) for compressing a refrigerant, an expansion mechanism
(60) for expanding the refrigerant, and a rotating shaft (40) connecting the
compression mechanism (50) and the expansion mechanism (60) are placed in a casing
(31). The internal space of the casing (31) is provided with heat insulating members
(90, 96) which cover all the exposed surface of the expansion mechanism (60) within
the casing (31). The insulating members (90, 96) are penetrated by the rotating
shaft (40).
