Abstract:

In a swash plate-type piston motor (2), pistons (24, 41) reciprocatingly moved by fluid pressure and a cylinder block (23) rotating in an operation chamber (21) depending on the reciprocating motion of the pistons (24, 41) are received in the operation chamber (21) in a case (30). When the cylinder block (23) rotates by inertia after the supply of operation fluid, which apply fluid pressure to the pistons (24, 41), to operation fluid paths (11, 12) is shut off, a check valve (18) supplies, when needed, operation fluid in the operation chamber (21) from a communication path (14) to the operation fluid paths (11, 12). This prevents the pressure in the fluid pressure motor (2) from becoming negative, preventing the pistons (24, 41) from being lifted from a swash plate (25).
