Abstract:
A fluid pressure shock absorber is provided with: a shock absorber body comprising an outer tube and an inner tube; a bottom member for sealing the bottom-side opening of the shock absorber body; a suspension spring; and a damper. The damper is provided with a cylinder in which operating fluid is contained. The cylinder is inserted through the inner tube and is affixed to the bottom member while being gripped between the bottom member and a head member which is affixed to a joining member joined to the inner tube. The joining member comprises: a stopper member having the head member engaged through screw threads with the stopper member at the inner periphery of the stopper member; and a pin member for joining the stopper member to the inner periphery of the inner tube. The suspension spring is supported by the stopper member.
