Abstract:
This fluid pressure shock absorber (100, 200) comprises: a piston (12, 112) that is linked to an end of a piston rod (2), that slidably moves within a cylinder tube (1), and that divides the interior of the cylinder tube (1) into a piston-side chamber (13) and a rod-side chamber (14); a rod internal space (16) formed inside the piston rod (2); a first communication passage (9b, 110) allowing communication between the rod-side chamber (14) and the rod internal space (16); a second communication passage (18) that is formed in the piston (12, 112) and that allows communication between the piston-side chamber (13) and the rod internal space (16); and a narrowing section (20) that is provided in the second communication passage (18) and that imparts resistance to the flow of a working fluid passing through.
