Abstract:
A fluid sterilization apparatus 10 is provided with: a casing 12 for demarcating a flow channel 13 that extends in the longitudinal direction; a filter 40 provided inside the casing 12 and extending in the longitudinal direction; and a light source 50 with a light-emitting element 52 for emitting ultraviolet light for irradiating ultraviolet light toward the fluid flowing through the filter 40 in a state of laminar flow. The filter 40 may be a hollow fiber membrane filter. The light source 50 may be provided so as to irradiate ultraviolet light in the longitudinal direction.
