Abstract:
Provided is a fluid sterilization device, comprising a flow path for causing a fluid to flow, and a light source which irradiates ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 290-310nm toward the fluid which flows through the flow path. The fluid may include an aromatic compound. The flow path may include a straight tube which extends in the longitudinal direction, the fluid may flow in a laminar flow state through the flow path, and the light source may irradiate the ultraviolet light so as to have an intensity distribution, in a cross section of the flow path which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, such that the intensity of the ultraviolet light near the center is greater than the intensity of the ultraviolet light in the periphery thereof.
