Abstract:
Provided is a fluid transportation device that can be produced easily with no need for high machining accuracy. This fluid transportation device comprises a casing having a cylindrical shape and a rotation body provided rotatably inside the casing. The fluid transportation device is characterized in that: the casing has a cylindrical circumferential wall part, a one end wall part having a first connection port connectable to a first external pipe and provided on one axial end side of the cylindrical circumferential wall part, and an other end wall part having a second connection port connectable to a second external pipe and provided on the other axial end side of the cylindrical circumferential wall part; the rotation body has a rotation shaft part pivotably supported by the one end wall part and the other end wall part of the casing so as to rotate with external power, and a spiral blade part provided on an outer circumferential surface of the rotation shaft part; the spiral blade part has an outer circumferential sliding part having a spiral belt-like shape and capable of sliding while being in close contact with an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical circumferential wall part; and the spiral blade part is configured to cause fluid in the first external pipe to flow into the casing from the first connection port and transport the fluid from the second connection port into the second external pipe by rotating the rotation body forward, and to cause fluid in the second external pipe to flow into the casing from the second connection port and transport the fluid from the first connection port into the first external pipe by rotating the rotation body backward.
