Abstract:
This fluidized bed monitoring method is for monitoring the state of a fluidized bed in a fluidized bed furnace in which the fluidized bed is formed by fluidization, of a fluid medium filling the lower portion of the furnace, using fluidizing gas blown out from the furnace bottom. The method comprises: defining a segment in the height direction in the fluidized bed; detecting the pressure difference between the upper end level and the lower end level of the segment; obtaining, on the basis of the detected pressure difference, the ratio of a fluidization inhibitory factor which is included in the segment and which reduces the density of the fluidized bed so as to deteriorate the fluidity of the fluidized bed; and monitoring the ratio of the fluidization inhibitory factor during operation of the fluidized bed furnace.
