Abstract:
Provided is a greenish yellow fluorescent protein having high pH stability (reduced pH sensitivity). The fluorescent protein in one or a plurality of embodiments has an amino acid sequence in which at least the mutation below is introduced at the 2nd through 225th sequence of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1. Here, the mutation is selected from the group consisting of F149T or S or A, L158T or S or A, H160T or S or A, Y174T or S or A, Y192T or S or A, and combinations of 2 to 5 of the above mutations.
