Abstract:
Provided is a fluorescent zirconia material. When a frame (14) is fired at a high temperature of 1300-1600oC, a fluorescent property, i.e., an ability to generate fluorescence upon UV irradiation, is imparted to the frame (14) comprising zirconia, due to Eu2O3 which is contained in the zirconia material constituting the frame (14). For example, when the cross section surface of the frame (14) is irradiated with a UV lamp, a black light or the like upon breakage, the frame generates fluorescence and thus shows traceability. When irradiated with a black light, the frame (14) generates blue fluorescence and a thin part in an upper layer (18) and a part not provided therewith also have the same fluorescent property as the upper layer (18), which brings about an esthetical merit too.
