Abstract:
Disclosed are: a fluorinated binder composition which can impart excellent adhesion between a battery active material and a current collector, can reduce the degree of swelling of an electrode in an electrolytic solution at a high temperature, and can exhibit practical performance thereof satisfactorily; an electrode mix for a secondary battery, which is produced using the composition; an electrode for a secondary battery; and a secondary battery. Specifically disclosed are: a fluorinated binder composition which comprises a binder comprising a fluorinated copolymer having a repeating unit derived from ethylene and a repeating unit derived from tetrafluoroethylene and a solvent capable of dissolving the fluorinated copolymer at a temperature equal to or lower than the melting point of the fluorinated copolymer; an electrode mix for a secondary battery, which is produced using the composition; an electrode for a secondary battery; and a secondary battery.
