Abstract:
It is intended to provide a fluorinated polymer capable of forming a water- and oil-repellent film which has a favorable water- and oil-repellency and is also excellent in hardness and heat resistance. A fluorinated polymer characterized by comprising: (I) from 30 to 90% by mol of a structural unit derived from a monomer (a) which carries a polymerizable double bond and a perfluoroalkyl group having one or more carbon atoms but has no cyclic structure; and (II) from 10 to 70% by mol of another structural unit having an alicyclic group containing an etheric bond-forming oxygen atom, wherein fluorine atom(s) are attached to at least a part of the carbon atoms constituting the cycle and one or more carbon atoms constituting the cycle are involved in a carbon chain constituting the main chain.
