Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a fluorine-based coating material which is capable of forming a coating film that exhibits excellent water repellency and excellent adhesion to a base material. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a coating material, a coated article and a method for producing a coated article. A fluorine-based coating material which is characterized by containing a fluorine-containing polymer that has the unit F described below, the unit 1 described below and the unit 2 described below.
Unit F: At least one unit selected from the group consisting of a unit based on CF3-CH=CHF and a unit based on CF3-CF=CH2.
Unit 1: At least one unit selected from the group consisting of a unit having a carboxy group, a unit based on allyl alcohol and a unit based on a hydroxyalkyl allyl ether.
Unit 2: At least one unit selected from the group consisting of a unit based on a vinyl ether, a unit based on a vinyl ester, a unit based on an allyl ether (excluding a hydroxyalkyl allyl ether), a unit based on an allyl ester, and a unit based on a (meth)acrylic acid ester.
