Abstract:

A fluorine compound which has functional groups in a high concentration, can hence have sufficient properties attributable to the functional groups, and is highly transparent in a wide wavelength region. It is a fluorinated diene represented by the following formula (1): CF₂=CFCH₂CH(C(R¹)(R²)(OH))CH₂CH=CH₂ (1) wherein R¹ and R² each independently represents fluorine or C₅ or lower fluoroalkyl.
