Abstract:
A air-permeable composite sheet which has a base woven or a knitted fabric and, combined therewith, a heat fusing web comprising staple fibers of a branched fluororesin, wherein the combination of the base with the web is performed by the heat fusion between fibers in the web intermingled with the base fabric and/or between a fiber in the web and the base cloth. The composite sheet exhibits good air permeability and also high strength, is excellent in releasability and weatherability, and is colored with ease, and thus can be suitably used as a material for a tent, a frame and the like.
