Abstract:
Provided are polymers which have high Tg's and main chains of fluorinated alicyclic structures containing functional groups in such high concentrations that the functional groups can sufficiently exhibit their characteristics, and processes for producing the polymers. Fluorine-containing polymers each comprising repeating units formed by cyclopolymerization of a fluorodiene of the general formula (1) having a functional group; and a process for producing the polymers by radical-polymerizing a fluorodiene of the general formula (1): (1) wherein R?1¿ and R?2¿ are each independently hydrogen, fluoro, alkyl having 3 or fewer carbon atoms, or fluoroalkyl having 3 or fewer carbon atoms; and Q is a divalent organic group having a functional group.
