It is intended to provide a fluorine-containing copolymer from which an electrical cable having excellent electrical properties can be obtained even by a high-speed cable molding method. Namely, a fluorine-containing copolymer which comprises a copolymerizable unit derived from tetrafluoroethylene [TFE] and another copolymerizable unit derived from hexafluoropropylene [HFP], characterized by showing the following properties (a) and (b). (a) In a heat flow curve obtained by the primary heating in differential scanning calorimetry, the melting point falls within the range of 240 to 280oC and the melting point peak area amounts to 60% or more of the melting heat area. (b) The product of MFR (g/10 min) and the resin pressure (MPa) is 40 or less.
