Abstract:
　Provided are a fluorine-containing ether compound, a fluorine-containing ether composition, and a coating solution capable of forming a surface layer having high initial water and oil repellency and excellent abrasion resistance, fingerprint removability, lubricity, and uniformity; as well as a substrate having the surface layer, and a method for manufacturing the same. A substrate having a surface layer formed from a fluorine-containing ether compound represented by Ｄ１－Ｒｆ１－Ｏ－ＣＨ２－（ＣｍＦ２ｍＯ）ｎ－Ａ, where Ｄ１ is ＣＦ３－／ＣＦ３－Ｏ－; Ｒｆ１ is a C1 to C20 fluoroalkylene group having one or more hydrogen atoms, or the like; m is 1 to 6; n is 1 to 200; A is －ＣａＦ２ａ－Ｂ－ＣｂＨ２ｂ－ＳｉＬｃＲ３－ｃ; B is －ＣｇＨ２ｇＯ－,－ＣｈＨ２ｈＯ－Ｃ（＝Ｏ）ＮＨ－, or the like; L is a hydrolyzable group; R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group or the like; a is 1 to 5; b is 1 to 10; c is 1 to 3; g is 1 to 5; and h is 1 to 5; or from a fluorine-containing ether composition that contains the fluorine-containing ether compound, as well as a method for manufacturing the substrate.
