Abstract:
Provided are: a fluorine-containing polyether compound that can form a film having superior lubricity; a lubricant; a liquid composition; and an article having a film having superior lubricity on a substrate. A fluorine-containing polyether compound is used represented by {X-O-[(CF2CF2O)a-(CF2CF2CF2CF2O)b]}m-Y-{[(OCF2CF2)c-(OCF2CF2CF2CF2)d]-O-Z}n. X is a group having a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, an ester group, or an aryl group, Y is a linking group of valence (m+n), Z is a group having a haloalkyl group, m and n are integers from 1 to 10, m+n is an integer from 2 to 20, and a through d are integers from 1 to 100.
