Abstract:
By means of the present invention, a fluorine-containing polymerizable monomer represented by general formula (1) and a polymer compound that uses the same are obtained. In formula (1), A is a single bond, oxygen atom, sulfur atom, SO2, CH2, CO, C(CH3)2, C(CH3)(CH2CH3), C(CF3)2,C(CH)3)(C6H6), CH2-C6H6-CH2, or phenyl, biphenyl, naphthalene, cyclohexene, or fluorolene from which two hydrogen atoms have been withdrawn; a and b are each independently an integer between 0 and 2; and 1 ≤ a + b ≤ 4. The resulting fluorine-containing polymer compound has the low water absorptivity of a fluorine compound, as well as adequate hydrophilicity and high transparency.
