Abstract:

A fluorine-modified polysiloxane derivative having an organopolysiloxane chain partially replaced by a siloxane chain represented by general formula (1), (2), (3), a process for the production thereof, an intermediate to be used for the production thereof, and a cosmetic containing the same, wherein R¿f? and R¿f?' represent each C¿1?-C¿20? perfluoroalkyl or $g(v)-H-perfluoroalkyl of the formula H(CF¿2?)¿t?- wherein t represents an integer of 1 to 20; a number of R?1¿ groups may be the same or different from each other and each represents C¿1?-C¿20? linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbyl or C¿5?-C¿10? cycloaliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbyl; R?2¿ represents hydrogen, C¿1?-C¿20? linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbyl, C¿5?-C¿10? cycloaliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbyl, C¿1?-C¿20? perfluoroalkyl or $g(v)-H-perfluoroalkyl of the formula H(CF¿2?)¿u?- wherein u represents an integer of 1 to 20; R?3¿ represents a C¿2?-C¿10? divalent hydrocarbon group; X and Y represent each a single bond, -CO- or a C¿1?-C¿6? divalent hydrocarbon group; $i(l) represents a number of 2 to 16; m and n represent each a number of 1 to 6; and r represents a number of 0 to 50. A cosmetic containing this compound has excellent water and oil repellency, can be held on the skin for long, and is comfortable to use.
