Abstract:
The present invention is a fluorophore represented by the general formula: A2MF6:Mn. The element A is an alkali metal element. The element M is at least one kind of tetravalent metal element selected from Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr and Hf. The minimum light absorbance appearing at a wavelength of 300 nm to 350 nm is 67% or less. The maximum light absorbance at wavelength 400 nm to 500 nm is at least 65%. Mn content is 0.3 mass% to 1.5 mass%.
