Abstract:
Provided is a fluororesin having excellent resistance to radiation. A fluororesin which is composed of a binary copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene, and wherein: the unit derived from the tetrafluoroethylene is 50-60% by mole relative to the total of the unit derived from the tetrafluoroethylene and the unit derived from ethylene; and the melt flow rate as determined at a temperature of 297°C under a load of 49 N in accordance with ASTM D3159 is 0.1 g/10 min or less.
