Abstract:
A fluororubber composition that is a kneaded mixture of: a carbon nanotube masterbatch comprising 100 parts by weight of a fluororubber polymer and 4-20 parts by weight of multilayered carbon nanotubes which are fibrous carbon nanostructures including no single-layered carbon nanotubes; and a raw fluororubber material comprising both a fluororubber polymer and a reinforcing filler. The multilayered carbon nanotubes are contained in an amount of 0.5-6 wt% of the kneaded mixture. For producing the fluororubber composition, the kneading is conducted with rolls or a kneader. The fluororubber composition can give molded crosslinked fluororubber articles which exhibit wear resistance and blistering resistance.
