Abstract:
A fluxed core wire of the present disclosure comprises a steel jacket and a flux filling the inside of the steel jacket, wherein the fluxed core wire has a total water content of not more than 300 ppm as a ratio to the entire mass of the wire, and the flux contains a fluoride, wherein the amount of the fluoride as a ratio to the entire mass of the wire is 0.11 mass% to 2.50 mass%, inclusive, in total as an F-converted value. When welding is performed using the fluxed core wire of the present disclosure, it is possible to obtain a stable weld shape and to reduce the amount of diffusible hydrogen of weld metal. Thus, the fluxed core wire of the present disclosure may be preferably used for welding high-strength steel, such as ferrite steel.
