Abstract:
This fly transport device for a fly sewing machine comprises: a table (11) that comprises a transport face (11a) by which a fly (5) is transported; an adjustment plate (12) on which an adjustment fly (9) separate from the fly is placed in a different location from the transport face; a transport device main unit (13) that transports the fly; a movable block (14) that is disposed above the adjustment plate and the table and that contains a portion of the transport device main unit; and a guide device (24) that movably guides the movable block in the vertical direction. The transport device main unit comprises an upper member (13j) disposed above the fly and a lower member (13k) disposed below the fly. One of the upper member and the lower member is a feed roller for feeding the fly, and the other is a pressing member for pressing the fly. The movable block comprises: a movable plate (14a) that works together with the adjustment plate to sandwich the adjustment fly; a fly guide (14b) that forms, with the transport face, a gap through which the fly passes; the upper member of the transport device main unit; and a connecting member (14c) that integrally connects the movable plate, the fly guide, and the upper member.
