BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

From the very beginning of human existence, man has always dreamt of flying like a bird. But this desire is yet to be full filled till today. Though we have aircrafts, aeroplane, helicopters, hot air balloons, rocket, space shuttles, gliders and parachutes as method of flying but still the desire to fly like birds is not full filled. Aeroplanes, helicopters, aircraft, rocket and space shuttles are the speedy mode of transportation in which man can simply place himself. Hot balloons and balloon filled with hydrogen or helium gas, can fly as per direction of wind and para gliders can fly from hilly or mountain areas only. About one year back a person from europe has successfully tested his flying machine which is meant for single person and is attached with motor / engine, which consumes fuel.

We can say that in case of aeroplane, helicopters, rocket, space shuttle, these all are engines/machines which fly in the sky and we the person simply can take ride over them. No doubt these are best mode of transportation or conveyance. It is the engine/machine who is flying and not the man. Directions of hot air balloons cannot be against the winds. W

Paragliding cannot be performed in plain area. This invention will allow man to fly like a bird. He will have to wear a costume filled with hydrogen or helium gas. The costume will be covering the person from head to toe, like a costume being worn by astronauts.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

Main object of the present invention is to provide a flying jacket/costume that is easy to operate from anywhere and at any point of time.

Another object of the invention is to provide a flying means with fan (for speed and direction), compass, altitude meter, G.P.S torch without any complex machinery and heavy engineering.

Another object of the invention is to enable a person to fly like a bird while using his arms and legs as wings, also with fan for speed and direction which are specially designed in flying costume.

Another object of the invention is to provide a flying jacket/costume that can overcome the gravity of earth and to provide a zero gravity environment while wearing the jacket. Another object of the invention is to provide a fully controllable flying means.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide a recreational means as to freely fly in the sky. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a flying costume / jacket filled with hydrogen / helium gas and alike which enables a person to fly like a bird in the open sky in any direction, height with his will and body force. More particularly, the present invention will allow the user to fly as well as land from anywhere and at any point of time.

Man's yearning to fly is as old as his presence on the earth. That particular dream of mankind to fly like a bird is still an unaccomplished dream. Somehow only para gliders can fly like a bird, however, they can only fly in mountains with certain restrictions.

It is well known to everyone that earth attracts all living and non living object. This force of the earth is called the gravity of the earth. The gravitational force of earth was discovered by renowned scientist Sir Isaac Newton. Birds are capable to fly, mainly because of their proportionate weight of body and wings/feathers, and their capability to neutralise the force of gravity by their upward and down word movements. There are lots of other factors which help birds to fly. Bird whose body weight is less but bears huge and light weight wings and feathers can fly instantly and speedily and man has no wing to neutralize the force of gravity.

We have often seen in various television shows that astronauts are floating in the space shuttle, where the gravitational force of earth has been vanished. Astronauts can fly upward and downward as per there will and with the force of body. The attracting power of earth is known as gravity and earth attracts everything towards its centre with a force. The doctrine of gravitational force of Newton has been described below: - Newton's law of universal gravitation

F is the magnitude of the gravitational force between the two point masses,

■ G is the gravitational constant,

mi is the mass of the first point mass,

m 2 is the mass of the second point mass, and

r is the distance between the two point masses Assuming SI units, F is measured in Newton (N), mi and m 2 in kilograms (kg), r in meters (m), and the constant 6 is approximately equal to6.674xl0 " 11 N m 2 kg "2 .

Every planet of the universe has its own force of gravity, according to doctrine of Newton. A person of 75 kg weight on the earth would be 12.45 kg on the moon, 5.025, on the Pluto, on the Sun 2030.4 and 177 kg on the Jupiter etc.

The present invention uses the various light gases viz. hydrogen and helium to make a flying jacket or costume that enables user to fly in the air. The flying jacket/costume filled with hydrogen/helium gas can neutralize the gravitational force of earth by compensating with the body weight of the individual. By compensating the body weight of user, a user will be able to fly/swim like astronauts in the open sky.

FIG.8 is a flying costume with various means.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to a flying costume / jacket filled with hydrogen / helium gas etc, which enables a person to fly like a bird in the open sky in any direction, height with his will and body force. More particularly, the present invention will allow the user to fly from anywhere and will also allow the user to land anywhere at any point of time.

The flying costume is made in such a fashion that it can store the compressed form of helium/hydrogen gas. The costume which will look like a full body jacket/costume comprises of various balloon like attachment. This costume will be freely movable at arms, legs and back portions and have plurality pockets to store compressed/condensed gas. The shape of the balloon can be given as the shape of human body. The material used in the flying costume consists of Aluminium panels dully filled with helium or hydrogen gas. Since Aluminium is as strong as iron but drastically light in weight in comparison to the other metal and it can easily carries the possibilities to sustain 40 cubic gas. The various components and gases used in the flying costume have unique properties which are given below:

HYDROGEN ' Hydrogen is the simplest, lightest element in the Universe. It is made up of one proton & one electron.

• It is light as it scatters immediately upward in the air.

• It is non polluting.

• It is a energy carrier It is not energy it self, but requires energy to produce it.

· It has more energy per weight, but less energy per volume than any other fuel.

• It is normal gaseous state it is colourless, odourless, tasteless & non toxic.

Hydrogen is usually compressed into gas cylinders by oil-lubricated compressors. The amount of gas in a cylinder is determined by the pressure, temperature, cylinder size, and cylinder pressure rating. The molecular symbol for hydrogen is H 2 There are five distinct properties responsible for its many uses- low density, low boiling point, low solubility, chemical inertness and high thermal conductivity It is inflammable & even explosives under certain conditions. HELIUM

Helium is one of the basic chemical elements. In its natural state, helium is a colorless gas known for its low density and low chemical reactivity. It is probably best known as a non- flammable substitute for hydrogen to provide the lift in blimps and balloons. Helium carries much less risk of explosion than hydrogen. Helium has many unique properties: low boiling point, low density, low solubility, high thermal conductivity and inertness, so it is use for any application which can exploit these properties. Helium is the second most abundant element in the known universe, after hydrogen. Helium constitutes the 23% of all elemental matter measured by mass.

BALLOON

A balloon is an inflatable flexible bag filled with a type of gas, such as helium, hydrogen, nitrous oxide or air. Modern balloons can be made from materials such as rubber, latex, polypropylene, or a nylon fabric. A balloon's properties, including its low density and relatively low cost, have led to a wide range of applications. Large balloons filled with hot air or buoyant gas (often hydrogen or helium) have been used as flying machines since the 18th century. The earliest flights were made with hot air balloons using air heated with a flame, or hydrogen; later, helium was used. Unlike airships, balloons' travel is directed exclusively by wind.

Balloons which are meant for advertisement purpose are mainly made of 7 or 10 feet in height. The gas filled in them has to lift the weight of balloon, net and a rope usually of 120 meters. Therefore, it is estimated that hydrogen gas filled in a balloon of 10 feet can lift the weight of at least 15 kg.

One balloon of 10 feet size hydrogen gas requires 2.5 cylinders of hydrogen gas and it contains 525 cubic feet gas, approximately. The cubic feet size of each hydrogen gas filled cylinder is near about 4 cubic feet. Therefore it comes to 10 cubic feet compressed gas of hydrogen which has been filled in one balloon. Therefore, it indicates that a hydrogen gas filled costume, which could contain the hydrogen gas in compressed form, as contained in cylinders than the size of the costume would be 50 cubic feet, approximately. Therefore, a man (average weight of 72 kg) can fly like bird, with this flying costume covering from head to toe, capable to carry 2100 cubic feet hydrogen or helium gas. This costume shall have to tie or hooked with any article that can hold the weight of more than 75 kg.

Astronauts are able to fly or swim in the space because of zero gravity of the earth or earth force of gravity does not attract them. By wearing the proposed helium / hydrogen gas filled costume / jackets a man will be able to lift his body in the air and would allow him to fly as a bird in all direction.

A balloon made of 7 ft size (pvc) take the volume of 210 cubic feet and is capable to lift weight equivalent to 5 lb. Less than one tank of helium is required to fill it. Similarly a balloon of 10 feet (pvc) size takes the volume of 523 cubic feet and is capable to lift 14 lb weight. And it requires one and half tank helium. These types of balloons are also made of nylon and one nylon based 30 feet size take the volume of 1800 cubic feet, which is capable to lift 28 lb weight. It requires 4.5 tank of helium gas.

In an embodiment the said costumes consists of cubic blocks or bricks dully filled with helium or hydrogen gas. It is known that Aluminium is about one third of the weight of an equal volume of copper, steel or brass, and available in the most abundant metallic element in the earth's crust. It can withstand heavy loads and pressure when alloyed appropriately; its strength approaches that of steel. Aluminium or any other metal/ materials, plastic etc. can be used to construct the said brick / blocks in which can be shape of round panel, square, rectangular and cubic etc. The compressed gas of hydrogen or helium can easily be filled in these blocks. In another embodiment the panel made of plastics or PVC can be used to fill the compressed helium / hydrogen gas. These plastic panels can be sewed or simply be inserted in the pockets of the flying costume / jacket. Helium gas can be re-filled after every 3-5 days in balloons, to achieve the firm look of the flying jacket. These said plastic bricks / blocks can be made for one time filled helium gas, which are duly sealed and leak proof and these shall have to be kept in a heavy weight containers so that it may not flown away like a helium gas balloon. These cube / square / rectangular or round shaped block / bricks would be manufactured in different shape and size. The same can be inserted in costume in a way of half cubic feet block one cubic feet block or five cubic feet block, as we use one kg / five kg / or ten kg weight blocks. These blocks / bricks can be locked by using buckles, buttons, and hooks etc. The compressed hydrogen gas equivalent to 10 cylinders can be transferred in these costumes.

In another embodiment the flying costume is made of rigid and flexible substance, which can contain the helium or hydrogen in compressed/condensed form. These are two costumes and there is hallow space of about six to nine inches in between to carry compressed gas. A person can use a flying costume, which is made of hard plastic (high density plastic). The flying costume will be in a position to carry the hydrogen or helium gas equivalent to ten cylinder. This costume has been designed flexible from elbow and from leg joints for frequent moments to help flying. And it can be made of nylon, silicon, rubber, natural rubber and latex rubber.

In another embodiment, the flying costume / jackets are to be made in number of sizes, according to weight and height of the person. Gases will be filled in proportionate ratio of costume size. The weight of the costume shall have to be taken into consideration. Compressed gas pressure can be adjudged, gauged and fixed after certain experiments, as we fill air in tyres of cars, bus, truck etc. These costumes would be specially designed wherein arms and legs are being used as the wings containing hydrogen or helium gas,. These costumes are made in one component costume, which can be carried like an astronaut dress. Minimum two layers or multi layer costume filled with hydrogen or helium gas can be used as single flying costume

The said costume is sufficiently super strong to absorb the hydrogen or helium gas in compressed form. Round shape Aluminium panel may be inserted and sewed to sustain these compressed gases. Any other metal such as lithium and extruded Aluminium etc., which is lighter than Aluminium but substantially strong, can also be used.

In another embodiment, he flying costume is containing various pockets, wherein plastic/grapheme (newly discovered), a carbon-based material that can be made as thin as paper and ten times stronger than steel/Aluminium blocks / cubes/ bricks are being inserted. Helium which is not harmful and injurious to human would be filled in compressed form in plastic/Aluminium block/ bricks, of various capacities of cubic feet gas. For the achievement of final phase Flying Costume Efforts are to be extended to compress helium/hydrogen gas.

It is estimated that a balloon of 1200 to 1500 cubic feet volume would be able to lift a man. The flying costume / jacket is designed in such a fashion that the arms will work like a wings to take movements as bird. The flying costume is made to cover complete body of a person, excluding face. It can be carried like socks form the feet and hand glove from hands.

In another embodiment the flying costume is fitted with torch at the head, a compass would be tied as a wrist watch in one hand and a gauge showing altitude would in other hand. A system such as gps would also be attached indicating the distance and direction from the base, from where that particular man has started flying. Man could be a resident of earth atmosphere, would be in position to afloat in the sky, while sleeping for whole night. Suppose 40 cubic feet compressed hydrogen gas is required to neutralize the gravitational force of earth, for a particular person. He can in-filled 45 cubic feet compressed gas, in his costume and tied with a rope with tree piller etc., could afloat in the sky as does these blimps or balloons meant for advertisement purpose. Similarly he would be in position to attain speed and direction by certain movements of legs, flapping of arms and by spreading and squeezing the arm wings of costumes. Landing Mechanism: -

A pocket filled with helium / hydrogen gas capable of lifting 200-300 or so on grams will be attached in front of chest or stomach and can be used to release gases for speedy landing.
