Abstract:
 The present invention is a flywheel regeneration system for regenerating kinetic energy in a flywheel (2) while a vehicle (100) is decelerating, and using the energy of the flywheel (2) in starting or accelerating the vehicle (100) on the basis of a drive force request, wherein a controller (8) generates drive force by up-shifting the transmission ratio of a transmission when there is a drive force request from a driver, and up-shifts the transmission ratio of the transmission by up-shifting a continuously variable transmission mechanism (20) before up-shifting a stepped transmission mechanism (30). The present invention thereby makes it possible to increase energy efficiency even in a transmission that combines the continuously variable transmission mechanism (20) and the stepped transmission mechanism (30).
