Abstract:
Provided are a foam molding production method and foam molding such that it is possible to both limit reduction in strength of the foam molding and establish good mold-releasing properties even when a portion of the outer surface of the foam molding that is pressed by the ejector pin is sloped with respect to the mold-opening direction. The production method for a foam molding 30 comprises a molding step S12 for molding the foam molding 30 and a mold-releasing step S13 for opening a stationary mold 41 from a movable mold 42 as well as pushing the foam molding 30 out of the stationary mold 41 by means of an ejector pin 60. The foam molding 30 has a sloped surface 35b that slopes with respect to the mold-opening direction, and a depression 36 for pushing out the foam molding 30 by means of the ejector pin 60 is formed on the sloped surface 35b. The distal end face 61 of the ejector pin 60 has a first push-out surface 61a, which is perpendicular to the mold-opening direction and forms the bottom surface 36b of the depression 36 and a second push-out surface 61b, which is sloped with respect to the first push-out surface 61a.
