Abstract:
A foam nichrome and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises: (1) obtaining nickel foam; (2) under vacuum, mixing the nickel foam and an alloy material, and carrying out alloy treatment to obtain a composite material; and (3) carrying out thermal diffusion on the composite material to obtain foam nichrome. By controlling the composition of the alloy material and carrying out alloying under a vacuum condition, problems such as powder loss caused by introduction of ammonium chloride can be avoided. By using a reducing agent to remove an oxide film on the surface of the chromium powder and by using an activator to promote alloying of chromium and nickel foam, impurities generated during this process can be removed under the vacuum condition, avoiding effects on the alloying process. By means of the mutual cooperation of said materials and conditions, the generated foam nichrome exhibits a dense and smooth surface, solving the problems, such as powder stickiness, high cost and poor safety, in the current process.
