Abstract:
A novel foam with a uniform minute foam structure and excellent toughness and thermal resistance and a production method for same are provided. Also provided is a functional foam that includes such a foam and to which a variety of functions have been applied. The foam has spherical bubbles, the average pore diameter of the spherical bubbles is less than 20 µm, the density of the foam is 0.15-0.9 g/cm3, and cracks are not generated in a 180° bending test. The functional foam includes said foam.
