Abstract:

Provided are: a foamed resin object which combines high cushioning properties with low compression set and has excellent adhesiveness; a shoe sole member comprising the foamed resin object; and footwear including said shoe sole members. The foamed resin object is obtained by crosslinking and foaming a resin composition which comprises a crosslinkable resin (A), a crosslinking agent (B), and a blowing agent (C), wherein the crosslinkable resin (A) comprises a polymer matrix (a1) and a silicone-modified ethylene/propylene/diene rubber (a2), the polymer matrix (a1) comprising a block copolymer comprising a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon monomer unit and a conjugated-diene monomer unit and/or a product of hydrogenation of a block copolymer comprising a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon monomer unit and a conjugated-diene monomer unit, the weight proportion of the silicone-modified ethylene/propylene/diene rubber (a2) to the total weight of the polymer matrix (a1) and the silicone-modified ethylene/propylene/diene rubber (a2), a2/(a1+a2), being 15-45 wt%.
