Abstract:
A focusing adjustment unit changes the relative positions of an optical system and an element of a camera the imaging direction of which faces a predetermined imaging target position from a first side of the imaging direction to a second side of the imaging direction. Every time the focusing adjustment unit changes the relative positions of the optical system and the element, an evaluation unit calculates, regarding an adjustment range that is a range in which an adjustment member provided at the imaging target position and having a pattern comprising a plurality of colors appears within an image captured by the camera, an evaluation value that increases monotonously with respect to the standard deviation of the density of pixels included in the adjustment range. A focusing position determination unit determines a focusing position of the camera on the basis of the change of the evaluation value calculated by the evaluation unit.
