Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses a fog computing architecture based on an Internet of Things (IoT) environment. The solution fully leverages local radio signal processing capability, combines radio resource management and distributed storage capability in edge devices, and selects appropriate transmission modes to construct a fog computing architecture, reducing front-end loads and achieving a higher system capacity and processing speeds. Specifically, four cloud types are defined in a fog computing wireless access network: a global centralized communication and storage cloud, a centralized control cloud, a distributed logical communication cloud, and a distributed logical storage cloud, responsible for communication, storage, control, and signal processing, respectively. When user equipment accesses a fog computing system IoT, four transmission modes: a D2D and relay mode, a local distributed coordination mode, a global C-RAN mode, and an HPN mode, are selected according to moving speed, communication distance, location, and quality of service (QoS) requirements, and processing and caching capabilities of the user equipment, so as to achieve higher efficiency.
