Abstract:
A foldable display device according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a display panel, a support plate, and an adhesive layer. The display panel may have a folding region and a flat region defined therein, the folding region being folded around an extended folding axis defined along a first direction, and may display an image. The support plate may be disposed under the display panel and may overlap the flat region. The adhesive layer may fix the display panel and the support plate. The adhesive layer may overlap the flat region of the display panel and may not overlap the flat region of the display panel. The adhesive layer may include a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer spaced apart from each other in the first direction. On a plane, the first and the second adhesive layer may be arranged along sides extending along a second direction crossing the first direction of the display panel.
