Abstract:
A foldable mechanism for folding up or disassembling rigid objects. Matching rows of teeth are disposed on opposing faces of two connecting blocks, wherein teeth projections (23) of the row of teeth can engage with grooves (15, 16) provided on the opposing face thereto. When a locking mechanism perpendicular to the direction of the tooth rows is activated, the locking mechanism may drive the two connecting blocks to move relative to each other along the direction of a pulling rod (4), such that the grooves (15, 16) on the tooth rows are tightly engaged with one another, causing the two connecting blocks to be pressed tightly against each other to form a fixed connection. When the foldable mechanism is in a connected state, the matching faces of the two connecting blocks are engaged firmly with each other through the opposing grooves (15, 16), such that the two connected parts are joined together to form a completely rigid integrated body that can firmly connect a front component to a rear component. The foldable mechanism has a simple structure and high connection strength.
