To solve a problem of mobility degradation and consequent inconvenient portability due to volume and weight, provided is a foldable telescope using a holographic optical element (HOE) instead of a glass lens. A telescope according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a barrel forming the body of the telescope; and a first holographic optical element (HOE) installed at a first point of the barrel. The present invention replaces a glass lens by an HOE and replaces a barrel having a robust structure by hardboard, and thus reduces the weight of a telescope and enables free assembling/disassembling thereof, thereby improving mobility and thus enhancing portability for a user.
