Abstract:
Disclosed is an invention relating to a foldable wheel. The disclosed foldable wheel comprises: a plurality of unit wheels formed by dividing the wheel; a main support shaft constituted by an inner shaft and an outer shaft fixed at respective selected unit wheels, the main support shaft varying the connection shape of the unit wheels by means of adjusting the length thereof; connection members interconnecting the unit wheels; auxiliary support shafts each having one end hinged to the inner surface of the unit wheel and the other end hinged to the outer shaft, the auxiliary support shaft having a length adjustable to support the weight of the circular wheel; a wire connected to the unit wheels through the main support shaft so as to be drawn to combine the unit wheels and maintain the circular wheel shape upon retraction of the main support shaft; and an operating member which rotates to further pull the wire after the retraction of the main support shaft so as to restrict the unit wheels so that the unit wheels cannot be separated.
