Abstract:
A foldable wheelchair, comprising a wheelchair frame (10) and a locking mechanism (70); the wheelchair frame (10) comprises a front wheel support (100), a rear wheel support (200), a seat support (300), a backrest support (400), and an armrest support (500); a front end portion of the armrest support (500), the front wheel support (100) and the rear wheel support (200) are rotatably connected by means of a first rotary shaft (11); the seat support (300) and the front wheel support (100) are rotatably connected by means of a second rotary shaft (12), the backrest support (400) and the seat support (300) are rotatably connected by means of a third rotary shaft (13), a rear end portion of the armrest support (500) and the backrest support (400) are rotatably connected by means of a fourth rotary shaft (14), such that the front wheel support (100), the seat support (300), the backrest support (400), and the armrest support (500) form a four-bar linkage mechanism; by enabling the third rotary shaft (13) and the rear wheel support (200) to be slidably disposed, the four-bar linkage mechanism can be driven to move when the third rotary shaft (13) slides relative to the rear wheel support (200), such that the wheelchair frame (10) can change between an unfolded state and a folded state, then the wheelchair frame (10) is locked in the unfolded state by the locking mechanism (70), thus achieving the unfolding and folding of the foldable wheelchair. The structure is simple and easy to operate.
