Abstract:
A foldable wheelchair, relating to the technical field of medical instruments and used for solving the problem that the folding process is complicated because the folding space between the backrest support and the seat support of foldable wheelchairs is so small that the backrest cushion and/or the seat cushion have/has to be disassembled during folding, resulting in poor user experience. The foldable wheelchair comprises a front support frame (10), a backrest support (20), a rear support frame (30), and a support connecting rod (40) which are hinged to each other and form a first connecting rod mechanism. A seat connecting rod (50) is hinged to the front support frame (10) and a seat support (60), and the front support frame (10), the backrest support (20), the seat support (60), and the seat connecting rod (50) form a second connecting rod mechanism. A hinge point of the backrest support (20) and the seat support (60) is located above the central surface of the seat support (60). When the foldable wheelchair is folded, there is no need to disassemble the backrest cushion and/or the seat cushion in advance, thereby simplifying the folding process and improving user experience.
