Abstract:
Disclosed is a folded steel plate such that crest sections consisting of upper flange surfaces at the upper end, and trough sections consisting of lower flange surfaces at the lower end, are alternately and continuously provided, with webs therebetween. Two long support members are installed in a direction perpendicularly intersecting the edge lines of the folded steel plate, thereby supporting the lower portion of the folded steel plate. A loading disk 80 mm in diameter is placed on the folded steel plate. Sinking amounts of the loading disk are measured while changing loads applied to the loading disk. The results are represented by a curve generated by plotting measured values on a graph where loads are taken on the vertical axis and sinking amounts of the loading disk are taken on the horizontal axis. In this respect, the folded steel plate is characterized in that the curve consists of positive slopes only or a mixture of positive slopes and zero-degree slopes, at all times until the maximum load is reached.
