Abstract:
The invention relates to a folder which comprises a cutter (01, 26) for cutting a web of material (04) into signatures, a folding device (02) for producing at least one fold in a signature cut from the web of material (04), at least one delivery device (23) and one conveyor path (03) for directly feeding cut signatures to the delivery device (06, 07) while avoiding the folding device (02). The signatures can be optionally guided via the conveyor path (36) or through the folding device (02). A signature switch (27) of the conveyor path (36) distributes the signatures to two flies (38, 39) that deliver to conveyor belt devices (41, 42) that are arranged in parallel to the rotational axes thereof.
