Abstract:
A folding apparatus and an electronic device. A folding apparatus (10) is configured to bear a flexible display screen (20) of an electronic device (100). The folding apparatus (10) comprises a first housing (1), a second housing (2), and a folding assembly (3); the folding assembly (3) is connected to the first housing (1) and the second housing (2), and enables the first housing (1) and the second housing (2) to be relatively unfolded to an open state or relatively folded to a closed state. The folding assembly (3) comprises a middle shaft (31), a first connecting frame (321), a second connecting frame (322), a first elastic member (3230), and a second elastic member (3240). When the folding apparatus (10) is in the open state, the first elastic member (3230) and the second elastic member (3240) are in a compressed state to spread a bending portion (202) of the flexible display screen (20), so that the bending portion (202) has better flatness and a long service life.
