Description:

FOLDING CONSTRUCTION AND ASSEMBLY SCAFFOLD

SCOPE OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is related to a construction and assembly scaffolding, with application in construction for construction and assembly works, for instance in enclosed premises.

CURRENT STATE OF THE ART

The usage of ladders for the execution of construction and assembly works in enclosed premises is well known.

A drawback of this structure is the extreme labor consumption and inconvenient application of this structure for construction and assembly works.

Well known is also the usage of two stands with an overlaying platform, the worker steps on the upper surface of the platform, places there the working tools and materials and is able execute any construction and assembly works on the walls and ceiling of the compartment. A drawback of this structure is that it is not comfortable for moving in the compartment of operation. This structure is also more inconvenient when moving from one building to another.

TECHNICAL ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

The Technical problem to be solved is to make such a structure of construction and assembly scaffolding, that is stable, convenient for operation and is capable for easy movement from one compartment to another, and from one working place to another.

This technical problem is solved by the development of a construction and assembly scaffolding having the following structure. Is comprises columns with their lower end welded to a stationary support. Each support steps, in a known way, over the vertical axis of a mobile rocking wheel (not shown) and it steps directly on the floor (ground). Over each column a tube is slipped on. On the lower end of the tube, a vertical support is welded. On each vertical support a hinge is welded for the installation of a mobile platform. Two adjacent platforms are connected frontally by a hinge. To two vertical supports, at their upper end, a lateral beam is statically attached. On the outer side of the lateral beam is attached sideways a hinge. To the other end of this hinge are connected end platforms and intermediate platforms. The adjacent platforms are frontally connected one to the other via a hinge. Each platform, sideways, at both sides, has an L-shaped release, and at least on one side of the corresponding platform, on the frontal side of the L-shaped release, a T- shaped groove is machined over the total length. A strengthening and supporting rod is inserted laterally or bilaterally in the L-shaped release of each platform. At one end the supporting rod is fixed with a joint to a stationary axis. At its other end, the supporting rod is fixed to a T-shaped guide, inserted in the T-shaped grooved as already shown.

In each column are drilled, over the diameter, transverse through holes. Over the diameter, in each tube, is drilled a through hole with dimension equal to the dimension of the hole in the corresponding column. The relevant holes in the column and the hole in the tube may be in alignment and a stopper rod to be inserted in these holes.

In the upper part of each tube, at the side of scaffolding folding, is attached a lateral safety stopper This stopper is flexible, for instance, a rope, a chain, wire and similar. At the other both sides of the scaffolding, to each tube, a stopper is also mounted. At both sides of construction and

assembly platform are fitted two + two handles, they are mobile and normally are in down hanging position.

The priorities of the disclosed invention of construction and assembly scaffolding are as the following: It is stable, capable for convenient operation and can be easily moved from one working place to another, especially if the folded scaffolding is placed on standard mobile rocking wheels.

EXPLANATION ON THE APPLIED FIGURES

Figure 2 represents a lateral view of construction an assembly scaffolding in folded condition;

Figure 3 shows a top overview of construction and assembly scaffolding in operating condition;

Figure 4 shows a top overview of construction and assembly scaffolding in operating condition without the platforms (platforms are taken down).

Figure 5 is a top view of construction and assembly scaffolding in folded condition without the upper platforms.

EXAMPLES FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

According to the description and the figures, the exemplary application of construction and assembly scaffolding has the following structure:

It comprises a column 1, and at its lower end is welded a stationary support 2. The support 2 steps over the vertical end of mobile rocking wheels (not shown) or steps directly over the floor. There are four columns 1. On each column 1 is slipped on a tube 3. At the lower end of tube 3 is welded a vertical support 4. To each vertical support 4 is attached a hinge 5. To hinge 5 is mounted a mobile platform 6. Two adjacent platforms 6 are frontally connected via a hinge 7. At the upper ends of two vertical supports 4 is statically fixed a lateral beam 9. On the outer side of beam 9 is attached one of the ends of hinge 10. To the other end of hinge 10 are connected platforms 11. 12, 13 and 14. The adjacent 11 and 12, respectively 13 and 14 are frontally connected one to the other with hinge 15, respectively, 16, 17. On both sides of each platform 11, 12, 13 and 14 there is an L-shaped release, and at least on one side of the relevant platform 11, 12, 13 and 14, on the frontal side of the L-shaped release 17, a T-shaped groove 18 is machined over the total length. In the L-shaped release of each platform 11, 12, 13 and 14 is unilaterally or bilaterally inserted a strengthening, supporting rod 19. At one of its end the supporting rod 19 is attached to a static axis 20 via a joint. At its other end, the supporting rod 19 is attached to an L-shaped guide (not shown), which is inserted in the L-shaped groove 18 in a known way,

In column 1 are transverse drilled, over the diameter, through holes 21. In each tube is drilled, over the diameter, a through hole 22 having the same dimension as the hole 21 in column 1. The relevant holes 21 in column 1 and the hole 22 in the tube 3 may be positioned in alignment and in them to be installed a stopper rod 23.

At the upper end of tubes 3, at the side where the scaffolding is folded, is sideways attached a safety stopper 24. The stopper 24 is flexible, for instance, a rope, a chain, a wire and similar. At the other side of beam 9 is mounted a stopper 25. At both sides of construction and assembly platform are fitted 2 + 2 mobile handles, normally positioned hanging downwards.

APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

The application of construction and assembly scaffolding is realized in the following manner. In working condition, the upper surface of the construction and assembly scaffolding is leveled and parallel to the floor and an worker can stay and operate on the platform, where tools, appliances and materials can be placed. In horizontal position of the platforms 11, 12, 13 and 14, their relevant rods 19 provide for the immobility of the platforms 11, 12, 13 and 14. When lifting the platform of the entire structure of the scaffolding upwards, hole 22 matches with the relevant hole 21. By installation of the stopper rod 23 in the aligned holes 21 and 22, the construction and assembly scaffolding is immobilized and takes its position at the relevant desired height for operation. If there is a necessity the scaffolding to operate at another height of platforms 6, the construction and assembly scaffolding structure is moved and the stopper rod 23 is placed in the closest for the required height holes 21 and 23. If it is necessary to operate on platforms 11, 12, 13 and 14, at a different height, the mobile part of the construction and assembly scaffolding structure is moved, together with tubes 3 along columns 1 and the stopper rod 23 is placed in the closest holes 21 and 22. The stoppers 24 and 25 secure the worker from falling and an accident. In operating condition, the construction scaffolding is shown on figures 1 and 2.

If is necessary to move the construction scaffolding via the handles 26, the platforms 11, 12, 13 and 14 are lifted upwards. The supporting rod 19 is rotated around axis 20, and its other end is moved along the L-shaped groove 18 in the opposite platform, with its T-shaped guide. The platforms 11, 12, 13 and 14 are rotating around their pertaining hinges 15, 16 and 17. In the same time, platforms 6 are rotated around hinges 5 and 7, while two adjacent platforms 6 rotate until contacting to each other. In folded condition, the construction scaffolding takes position as shown on figures

2 and 5. In such folded condition, the construction scaffolding is suitable for movement and transportation to another building site, particularly, if the folded scaffolding is put on standard mobile rocking wheels.
