Abstract:
A folding knife, comprising a knife handle (1), a blade (2) and an assisting mechanism. The blade is hinged to the knife handle by means of a first connecting nail (31), and the blade can rotate to open or close relative to the knife handle. The assisting mechanism comprises a first transmission rod (11), a second transmission rod (12), and a spring arm (13). The front end of the first transmission rod is hinged to the blade by means of a second connecting nail (32), and the middle of the second transmission rod is hinged to the knife handle. One end of the second transmission rod is hinged to the rear end of the first transmission rod by means of a third connecting nail (33), and the other end of the second transmission rod is connected to the free end of the spring arm. When the blade in a folded state is operated to the opening direction, before the center point of the second connecting nail passes the line connecting the center of the first connecting nail and the center of the third connecting nail, the assisting mechanism provides an assisting force on the blade in the folding direction, so that the blade in the folded state is prevented from being accidentally opened; after the center point of the second connecting nail passes the line connecting the center of the first connecting nail and the center of the third connecting nail, the assisting mechanism provides an assisting force on the blade in the opening direction, so that the blade opening process is convenient and requires less force.
