A folding process for facilitating the stripping of pad sponge, relating to the field of folding processes. The process flow of the folding process comprises: firstly, a technician makes a water-soluble embroidery quilting plate according to a design drawing; select proper fabric layer (1), thermosensitive film (2) and water-soluble film (4), and then stick the water-soluble film (4) to a sponge layer (3) by using a pressing machine; sandwich the sponge layer (3) between the fabric layer (1) and the thermosensitive film (2), and sew the three by hand by using a water-soluble embroidery thread for fixation to obtain a composite fabric; the technician performs quilting on the fabric layer (1) along the water-soluble embroidery thread by using an embroidery machine, crumples the composite fabric at high temperature by using a crumpling machine, soaks the composite fabric in water to dissolve the water-soluble embroidery thread and the water-soluble film (4), and then strips the sponge layer (3) by using a stripping device (6); dehydrate the fabric layer (1) and the sponge layer (3) and air-dry same; and finally, the technician performs manual shaping on the fabric layer (1), so that the embroidered fabric is easily and quickly shaped and fast stripping of the sponge layer (3) is facilitated.
